Who we are |

|
The Corstorphine Trust is a local community association, based at The Corstorphine Heritage Centre (The Dower House) in St. Margaret's Park, Corstorphine. We are dedicated to the stimulation of public interest in the character and history of Corstorphine and encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest. The Corstorphine Trust also plays an important role in safeguarding and forwarding local planning issues. We are a registered charity, and are non-political and non-sectarian. Membership is open to all that are interested in Corstorphine and its well being. An Executive Committee elected from its membership administers the Corstorphine Trust. The Trust organise social events, musical evenings and talks and there is a thriving Local History Group. Small publications and items of local interest are on sale. On the upper level of the Dower House is a small local history museum and archive of many things relating to Corstorphine past and present.
