This window on the north wall of the vestry is another Alexander Ballantine and son from 1905. This window in 1905 would have cost approximately £30. It shows "The Presentation in the Temple." In it Mary and Joseph are taking Jesus to the temple and as was the custom the first male born child was to be dedicated with the sacrifice of two doves. When they entered the Temple Simeon took the child in his arms and gave thanks to God. Its inscription are the words of Simeon, "Lord now lettest Thou thy servant depart in peace."

One panel shows Simeon holding Jesus. The other panel shows Mary and Joseph. Joseph is holding the two doves. An unusual feature of this window is the halo around Joseph’s head, usually in stain glass windows and other religious works of art Mary, Jesus and the disciples and sometimes other followers are depicted with Halo’s and Joseph is depicted without a halo. (St.Luke Chapter 2 vv29-32)
