This the third scene from the Teachings of our Lord depicts "The Sermon on the Mount." This window is by Nathaniel Bryson, who worked from Leith Street Terrace, Edinburgh, and was installed during the 1905 restoration. This window in 1905 cost approximately £45. Its inscription reads "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow." "In loving memory of John Downie who died 25th November 1892, also John Thomas his son who died 15th June 1899 - Erected 1904." This John Downie is probably the John Downie who gave the church two silver plates for Communion Bread in 1885. (St.Matthew Chapter 5 v18 [Sermon on the Mount])

Bryson’s pallet used more brilliant reds and green than Ballantine. Bryson also included tiny details in his windows, note the city in the background that continues over both panels.
